She was a lover of black-and-white analog film. The digital world was just beginning, and it was still far from her dream of becoming an architectural photographer.
She accidentally became a wedding videographer, carrying a heavy camera. She didn't enjoy those two years, but they showed her what she didn’t want to do. After living in Madrid for five years, she moved to a smaller city to pursue her passion for photography. In 2004, she started her own company, shooting four weddings with her Canon Rebel 300D. She wanted to avoid the typical posed portraits in familiar locations and instead explored sunflower fields and rural areas. Within a few years, other photographers started copying her style and locations. That pushed her to return to the city and start shooting on the streets.
In 2011, she shot her first destination wedding in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, and that’s when she realized she had found her true passion. Destination weddings became something extraordinary for her, more than just photography—it was about the entire experience. Over 3 to 5 days, she would get to know everyone and capture those quiet, intimate moments that often told the most powerful stories.
At some point, she realized it wasn’t just about technique anymore. She had lived through powerful experiences that changed her life and helped her grow as both a person and a photographer. Those experiences shaped her photography. Her lens reflected her life. The journey of discovering herself was also the journey of finding her voice and style. Through these experiences, her photography evolved, and it became the path of her life.
She experiences life with an intensity that’s hard to describe. Her emotions are heightened, and as an empathetic person, she is deeply aware of the feelings of others. She embraces every moment with passion and always strives to highlight the unique experiences that life offers to those around her.
As a divorced mother, she divides her time between fully being with her son and cherishing every moment they have together. The rest of the time, she travels the world to fulfill her mission.
Her mission is to document the subtle, often overlooked moments, allowing people to revisit and relive those emotions whenever they want. She’s dedicated to sharing her unique perspective as others navigate their own moments in life.
Whatever she does, she brings her full passion to it.
